Handling the Corona-Boner!

The ONE THING You Can Do Now To Protect Your Mental Wellbeing During The Pandemic

Of all the people who speak to me about how they are coping during the Covid-19 pandemic, one of the most common themes that comes up is about the constant impact of the bombardment of negativity and scare-mongering from media, mainstream and social alike

I get it. Pathetically uninspiring world “leaders” who make us face-palm with every piece of nonsense they spout. Constant updates about death figures, risks, future restrictions to our freedoms and finally, and most upsetting in some ways, the way we all have such a boner for the pandemic, evidenced by just how much viterol, abuse and general venting of fear and frustration we put out on social.

It’s terrible. It’s gotten really bad and as a race we have jumped on the band wagon in a very sheepley way and as a result, we now have people living in CONSTANT states of agitation, anxiety, fear and worse.

So what’s the ONE thing YOU can do? Cut that shit out.

Where Men Can Be Men

Check out the new group for Men on Facebook by clicking on the banner above.

Pay attention to what you really need to, in order to try and be informed about what’s going on (not that the gov have a clue of course) and filter out the rest. You really have to.

Bin people who constantly bring you down because they’re always going on about the latest miserable turn of events, conspiracies or who just whinge all the time.

Leave groups that aren’t relevant to you in order to reduce the bandwidth of nonense you have to deal with.

Personally I don’t watch the mainstream news anymore because it winds me up. So I get my news from reading other, more independent mainstream sources, in order to just get some facts and not have to listen to our “leaders”.

So that’s it for this Short Blog. I always promise to keep them short!

Protect your mental wellbeing by filtering out as much of it as you possibly can while still staying as connected and informed as you’d like to be.

Stay safe. Protect each other. Look after your mental wellbeing. Screw the virus!
