Are you a Corona-Boner or a Corona-Groaner??

There are arguably only two options for how we can choose to respond to life’s events.

Either A) Bitch about it or B) Let it go.

Bit too simplified for you? Feel like in the modern age we should have more options maybe?

That is a big part of our problem. We feel like we need to wade into everything.

In the modern world we are far more ‘aware’ than our predecessors. We have access to all the information in the world at the tip of our fingers and it’s constantly jumping up in our faces thanks to social media and technology.

We know all about corruption, depression, tragedies, challenges on the other side of the world, personal scandals and so much more that, in the past, either people didn’t know about, or it just wasn’t really any of their concern.

Nowadays we make everything our concern and we engage actively and constantly in arguments, debates and general frustrated venting online. Oftentimes channelling lots of negative energy into things we have no control over.

More and more the trend has been for this to be negatively charged and aimed at causing rifts and conflict between people of opposing viewpoints (or those idiots with no viewpoints and itchy keyboard fingers).

During 2020 this has of course gotten worse. Worse yet, this has been led by our leaders. THEY are the ones leading the negativity, the corruption, the failures, and the depressive state we find the West in. So unlike in the past, we can’t even find positivity in inspirational leadership.

So, do yourself a favour. Be a ‘Corona-Boner’. Be positive, up, firm and aimed to please others and yourself, rather than a ‘Corona-Groaner’, always complaining, getting yourself wound up over things you have little control over and generally being the one guy at the party no one wants to talk to because you just bring them down.

There’s positives out there.

Train yourself how to look for them and how to ignore and let the rest of the negativity and nonsense pass you by.
